This problem recently started after Detroit was hit with flooding and I made the mistake of trying to deliver pizzas in the downpour, and hit a bigger puddle at about 25 MPH. I read on toyota120's info site about the 4Runner that this has been a common problem with the stock rubber (which i unfortunately still have). And it's still shaking. When i go over 70, the whole car starts. I was told i. But is it a minor issue, or is it something major that makes the car unsafe to drive? Let's look at the most common causes that make your car shake. This warping is known as "out of round," and will cause your steering wheel to shake or vibrate when. It had some vibration but with the new tires it is worse. Shaking and vibration mean that something mechanical is wrong. THE SF-325 BRIDGESTONE TIRE (Imbalance issue #1 of 2) I thought many readers might appreciate hearing of an experiment I performed regarding the 65 MPG vibration. I have put a lot of money into it. it does the same while in a curve. Car shakes from 60 to 80 mph, not tires, wheels or alignment. Car failed inspection due to below problem. ??? Any help here would be appreciated. The first thing you should check is if they are firmly attached to the wheels. the steering wheel has a jiggle to it but the shaking is thru the whole car with the targa roof oscillating/ rattling. On the way down to Austin, I was going between 70 and 80 mph just to keep with traffic. I start to feel it at about 60 mph and up. It happens while cruising. but driving on the highway at 60+ and shaking like that is making me consider trading.
